In a mind-blowing demo, OpenAI cofounder showed how GPT-4 can turn a hand-drawn mockup into a fully functioning website. In seconds. While image recognition is not publicly available yet, it shows us a glimpse of what's coming in the near future.
What's here already is super powerful. Within hours of the release, Twitter exploded with examples of users creating simple games like Tetris and snake in under a minute. Others built chrome extensions, Stripe checkout pages from scratch, or a fully functioning apps. Reid Hoffman published a book co-authored with GPT-4 and Jackson Fall is building a business with AI as his partner and creative guide.
What these examples show is that GPT-4 can be a powerful copilot for everything we do. It can help us create and build at a much faster pace. Take my example - as a solo creator, I use AI as my assistant. I use it to research and dig deeper into specific topics, generate catchy titles, create images for my posts, and turn my essays into Twitter threads. Previously, these things would've taken me hours to accomplish. Now, it's a matter of minutes. It’s a perfect companion that helps me get more done.
Many people have said that 'AI will not replace people, but people who use AI will'. I think it's true. AI is helping us research, create, and build at a much faster pace. The best strategy right now is to be the first adopter and get ahead of the curve.
